Intro

After the previous post on some selling-VLC bundled with crapware using Google AdWords, here is an update.

Google Contact.

I contacted google through the AdWords sites but they did not really seem to understand the request and ignored it.

New language.

But the sites has expanded and has been translated to Portuguese and to English. Same technique, same crap. They also bought “vlc” word on Google.co.uk and Google.pt.

I re-contacted google. Let’s hope.

    I realy don’t think a BIG project like VideoLan needs Google’s Ad-Words. Why don’t you try inviting advatisers yourself? Wikipedia rejected many juicy offers, I hope you don’t do the same.

    sometime google is evil :)

    moreover, they open a service in order to put ads, on parked domain. (but in the adsense policy, we have no right to put on pages with no content …)
